What have we here? You slide the back of this item onto a tube of toothpaste and slide it up as you use the toothpaste. Although this is the 16th frog, there are actually 18 individuals shown on this page, with the many frogs on the shower curtain being counted as one. And next time I get up my strength I will move into the tiny hallway area outside the toilet and the bathroom.
This is another frog which is very old. One of the earliest in my collection. He was bought in China and delivered to me looking quite beautiful.
Again we have two, not one, but as they are mother and daughter I felt they should be photographed together.
And here we have more soap. I don't use him very often as I know I am fast approaching the point when this frog soap will simply be frog.
It would not be possible to live in a house full of frogs without having a shower curtain covered in frogs.
This soap holder adheres, theoretically, to the wall of my shower. His sticking point is not very sticky.
This frog sits on the bathroom windowsill and guards. If necessary, he will bite but mostly he just croaks although he is still alive.
These are great friends. I really should count them as two items and will do so in my final tally which, at the present rate, is going to be rather frightening as we are only on the second room.
One cannot have frog soap dishes without frog soap. He is inordinately difficult to wash with so he may have a very long life.
And here we have a frog soap dish. He is very relaxed and not at all interested in the parade of naked bodies.
You may wonder what this item is...it is a shower cap.
And, if you are reading from the bottom of the page up, and doesn't everyone? then you will realise you have seen a frog toilet brush before. But I have two, one on either side of the toilet, so everything is nicely balanced.
This frog is very similar to the very first frog, however he is a latecomer but is a good friend to my first frog and they keep each other company on the windowsill in the loo.
A frog toilet brush is a necessity in every house, how sad, then, that so many homes do not have one.
This frog's eyesight is a bit wonky which matched mine very well for many years. As you can see, we remain in the loo.
I have been collecting frogs for many years and now, with a house full of orgnaments, prints, plugs, taps, wineholders, pens, rubbers, photo frames etc. I have decided to give them a place on this website. Even if I put up a new photograph of a frog every day, the new content should continue for quite a few months. Whether I manage to put up a new frog every day, or a group every four or five days, will depend upon my memory. The first frog was originally the Jeremiah's Bullfrog shop frog and had pride of place on the counter. The frog became mine and began the whole collection, so he has pride of place, however as I add new frogs he will be come the last one so I am also placing him in the sidebar.
That first frog lives for the moment in my toilet and so I will photograph all of the frogs there before moving to the next room.
